Preventive visits usually consist of an oral examination, cleaning of your child’s teeth, fluoride application, a cavity-risk analysis and a overall assessment of your child’s growth and development.  

 

Dental X-Rays are recommended only when the back teeth start to touch and your child is comfortable in the dental setting. 

 

For the young, anxious children this visit can take place while laying in the parents lap.
